ABOUT ME
My name is João Vasconcelos. I'm from São Paulo, Brazil and I've been teaching the acoustic guitar for 10 years!
I started playing very early in life, at the age of 8, watching my father who is also a musician and used to bring me to bossa-nova meetings and samba parties.
I graduated in Classic Guitar from São Paulo's State School of Music - Tom Jobim, one of the main music schools in Latin America and attended to many courses and workshops on popular music and music education with emphasys on Brazilian guitar and guitar education.
Teaching guitar is my passion and I'm very proud of the music and the guitar style from my country. Being able to share it with people from all around the world it's a great gift!
